At Top Trolleys, we want you to find the perfect fit for all your lingerie needs. Since a good fitting bra is vital for your comfort and health we recommend you use the guidelines below to help ensure your bra is the perfect fit for you.
A useful starting point is having yourself measured. Bear in mind that the following procedures are generalised and that you should apply common sense when interpreting the results. You will need a tape measure and preferably the help of a friend. Please take the measurements in centimetres.
BACK SIZE
While standing straight ask your friend to wrap the tape around your chest – just under your bust. The tape should be straight all the way around and should be pulled so that it is snug around the body but not too tight or uncomfortable. Now take the measurement in centimetres. Use the table below to convert your measurement into your bra back size.

CUP SIZE
Repeat as above but this time measure around the fullest part of your bust. Again, pull the tape so that it is snug around the body but not too tight or uncomfortable. Now take the measurement in centimetres. To determine your cup size subtract the two measurements in cms and converts to inches (multiply by 2.54). Round this difference to the nearest whole number and use the table below to obtain your cup size.

E.g. If you are 74cm around your back and 84cm around your bust, the difference is 10cm and when this difference is converted to inches and rounded you have 4 inches. By combining the 2 results using the tables above you are a 34D.
When you have your correct size, use our 3 step guide to confirm you have the perfect fitting bra.
The band around your chest should be snug. When you stand side-on at a mirror, the band that runs around your chest should be horizontal and should not ride up at the back at all.
- The underwire should lie flat against your ribcage and should not dig in or poke out at the front.
- Your breasts should be fully enclosed in the cups and you should have a smooth line between the fabric at the top of the cup and your bust. You shouldn't have any bulging over the top or sides of the cups.
